Druid Lane Theatre Interior

Druid Lane Theatre is available for hire when it is not being used by Druid for rehearsals or performances. Druid aims to support the development and the promotion of the arts in Galway and hopes that the theatre can play an active role in this.

The theatre is suitable for a wide range of events ranging from concerts, comedy, performances and corporate events or launches. The rehearsal space in the theatre is also available to local Galway groups during normal office hours (Mon – Fri, 10 – 6). A nominal rate is charged for the rehearsal space to cover lighting and heat.

About the Theatre

Druid Lane Theatre is located in the heart of Galway, just off Quay Street, in the city’s Latin Quarter. The theatre underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2009 and consists of:

• An auditorium with a capacity of 90.
• A large foyer
• An upstairs rehearsal room with shower and toilet facilities
