Druid firmly believes that new writing is the lifeblood of the theatre and in the past has brought the work of emerging young writers such as Martin McDonagh, Enda Walsh and many others to the stage.

The New Writing Benefit Night on Friday 17 July 2009 helped to raise funds towards our new writing programme. A big THANK YOU to those who supported this event and the development of new writing.
