Cast Announced for DruidShakespeare: Richard III

We're thrilled to announce our full cast for DruidShakespeare: Richard III in association with the Abbey Theatre, which opens at Galway's Town Hall Theatre next month and runs at the Abbey Theatre and Dublin Theatre Festival.

The cast spans generations of actors from those who have worked with Druid since the early years, to the contemporary Druid Ensemble, to young talent making their Druid debut. Sean McGinley, Jane Brennan, Ingrid Craigie, Peter Daly, Siobhan Cullen, Zara Devlin and Frank Blake join Aaron Monaghan in the titular role alongside fellow members of the hugely celebrated Druid Ensemble: Garrett Lombard, Marie Mullen, Rory Nolan and Marty Rea.

Shakespeare gives us one of the great villains in Richard III. The play is a chilling and darkly comic story of power and ambition. Tickets are on sale now - see below for dates and further details.
