Marie Mullen Nominated for her Role in The Beauty Queen of Leenane in Drama Desk Awards
The Drama Desk Awards, New York, has nominated Marie Mullen for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play, for her role as Mag in our recent production of The Beauty Queen of Leenane by Martin McDonagh.
The Drama Desk Awards are one of the only major New York City theatre honors to place Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Off-Off Broadway productions and artists in the same categories. The awards are voted on and bestowed by theatre critics, journalists, editors, and publishers covering theatre, without any vested interest in the results.
The awards will be presented at the 62nd annual ceremony, hosted by Michael Urie, June 4 at Town Hall.
