Are there any recordings or DVDs available of your productions?
The DruidSynge DVD box-set can be purchased here. DruidSynge contains the six J.M. Synge plays which were all staged on the same day by Druid in 2005. The box-set includes Synge’s best known work, The Playboy of the Western World.
Can I look through your production archive?
Our recent archive is available available here. Our extended archive is managed by NUI Galway and you can read more about this here.
How do I contact actors, writers, designers who work with you?
We can pass on agent details of people we have worked with, but are unable to pass on personal contact details.
Is it possible to borrow or hire any of your costumes?
Druid does not operate a costume rental facility. Possible sources may be:

Can I buy Druid gift vouchers?
Yes, gift vouchers for Druid productions can be purchased via our shop.
Can I watch rehearsals or take photographs?
Our rehearsals are not open to the public. Occassionally we invite our Supporters to a rehearsal. Read more about becoming a Supporter here. We do not permit photographers other than our own contracted photographers to take images during rehearsals or productions.
Is it possible to purchase posters and programmes from productions?
In some cases it is possible to purchase overstock from recent productions. Please contact info@druid.ie or visit our shop to see what posters are for sale.
I am doing a research project. Can Druid assist me with this?
The primary source of information about Druid’s work is this website and our archive (see question -“Can I look through your production archive?”). Unfortunately, we are not in a position to respond to the high level of enquiries we receive and therefore cannot guarantee a detailed response to your query.

Do you run courses for actors/directors?
Druid’s main activity is producing and touring theatre.
We run an artist residency programme for theatre makers (including actors, writers and directors) based in the west of Ireland, called FUEL. Read more about this here.
Occasionally we run workshops and talks for actors, directors and theatre enthusiasts. You can sign up to our newsletter to ensure you are made aware of any such events.
We do not run any specific courses for actors or directors on a regular basis.
Can I send my script to Druid?
The submission period for new scripts runs from July to November each year. Find out how to apply here.
How do I get work experience / an internship with Druid?
Druid offers internships in the areas of administration, marketing and stage management. Please note that the time and duration of the internship is linked to our production schedule. If you would like to be considered for an internship, please email your CV to info@druid.ie outlining your area of interest. We are not in a position to offer internships in the areas of set design, costume design or in directing.

How do I find out where Druid is performing at the moment?
You can view our current season here or sign up to our mailing list to ensure you are up to date with all of our latest news.
How do I buy tickets to Druid shows when you are touring outside of Galway?
You can view our Current Season page to see which productions are touring. From there you will be guided to venue websites where you can book tickets for individual shows.

Can I come and have a look at the theatre?

Is it possible to hire the theatre for an event?

I have a ticket for an event at the Mick Lally Theatre but I cannot go – can I re-sell this?
All queries regarding tickets for events at The Mick Lally Theatre should be emailed to boxoffice@druid.ie. Queries relating to tickets for Druid events should be emailed directly to the venue where the Druid event is taking place.

I am interested in supporting the work that Druid does - how can I do this?

I am a Supporter but I am not receiving emails – how can I rectify this?
It may be possible that emails are going into your spam or junk folders. You could check these folders for emails containing the word Druid and contact supporters@druid.ie to make sure your email address has been correctly added to our database.
I am a Supporter – how can I avail of priority booking for Druid productions?
Prior to tickets going on sale, Druid issues Supporters with a unique booking code so that they can avail of online booking. If you have signed up as a Druid Supporter with a valid email address, your unique code will be emailed to this address. If you are concerned that you have not received this, please email supporters@druid.ie.
