In a first for an Irish theatre company, Druid’s production of Anton Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard, in a version by Tom Murphy, will be live streamed to cinemas across Ireland and the world, direct from the Black Box Theatre, Galway.

From April to July 2020, Druid will present The Galway Tour, a Galway 2020 commission.
In a large scale tour, featuring a company of 11 actors, we will present some of the greatest Irish one-act plays, created, rehearsed and performed in the heart of local communities across Galway county and city.
We are delighted to announce this year's 2019/2020 FUEL resident artists: Barry Cullen, Annie Keegan, Claire Mullane and Johanne Webb. Each participant will embark on creating a new theatre piece during the 9 month FUEL programme which includes mentorship, workshops, residency periods, a showcase event in the Mick Lally Theatre, networking events, funding and producing advice.
