Druid seeks an Administrator to join our busy team. We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to ensure the smooth running of the Druid offices in Galway and to support production and event logistics.
We are delighted to announce this year's 2020/2021 FUEL resident artists: Stephanie Dufresne, Miriam Needham, Emma O'Grady and Sinéad Sexton. Each participant will embark on creating a new theatre piece during the 9 month FUEL programme which includes mentorship, workshops, residency periods, a showcase event in The Mick Lally Theatre, networking events, funding and producing advice.
DruidGregory and On the Outside will be performed entirely outdoors, fully embracing all restrictions in place due to Covid-19. We ask that you read all signage at the event, observe guidelines and follow staff instructions with regard to safety measures. Read more about the safety measures in place at all Druid events.
Following new restrictions that come into effect from midnight tonight (Tuesday 6 October), we have adjusted the DruidGregory performance schedule to align with government guidelines and to ensure audience comfort and safety.
Druid returns to live theatre this September and October with DruidGregory, a Galway 2020 Commission. As part of an extensive rural tour, Druid is delighted to introduce an Education and Community programme which will engage with schools and communities throughout the county, making the work of two great Galway playwrights accessible to audiences of all ages. The Education and Community programme includes a special Lady Gregory bookmark for every primary school student in Galway, secondary school performances of Tom Murphy and Noel O’Donoghue’s On the Outside and free education packs and resources.

As the new government guidelines come into effect at midnight, tonight's preview of DruidGregory cannot go ahead. All other DruidGregory performances will go ahead as planned.
Tonight’s ticket-holders have been contacted and will be facilitated at another evenings performance.
