A film from the Coole Park Poetry Series 2021 has received a special mention at this year's Bloomsday Film Festival.
Austin Clarke’s ‘The Echo at Coole’ read by Tommy Tiernan and directed by Matthew Thompson received the honour at the film festival which is part of Bloomsday Festival, the annual celebration of James Joyce and Ulysses.

The Coole Park Poetry Series 2021 celebrates some of the greatest Irish poets of the past century. The 10 poetry films were directed by Matthew Thompson, curated by Colm Tóibín, with artistic direction by Garry Hynes, and music by Gerry Horan.
The Coole Park Poetry Series is produced by Druid in partnership with the Adrian Brinkerhoff Poetry Foundation.
