FUEL 2019 - Now Accepting Applications for Artist Residencies

The 2019 FUEL: Artist Residency Programme is now open. Applications will be accepted until noon on Monday 16th September.

FUEL began in 2014 and has since expanded to a nine-month residency programme. In five years of FUEL, nine full productions have emerged and many more continue to be developed.

We are looking for ambitious, original artists who have the drive to bring their work to fruition and the desire to develop their creative practice.

2017 FUEL artists James Riordan, Jacinta Sheerin and Mairéad Folan all took their projects to full production while 2018 artist Elaine Mears' Are You There Una enjoyed a sell-out run at this year's Galway Theatre Festival. Another 2018 artist, Sarah Jane Scott is currently performing in Edinburgh Fringe with her 2017 Dublin Fringe production, Appropriate.

FUEL offers support, resources and mentorship to artists developing a new idea for the stage. The programme is open to artists based in Galway, Mayo, Roscommon, Clare, Longford, Leitrim or Sligo.
