President Connolly attends 50th anniversary party on Druid Lane

We were really honoured to welcome President of Ireland Catherine Connolly as our special guest for our 50th anniversary party on Druid Lane this past Sunday.
President Connolly has been our neighbour on Flood Street for many years and we were delighted to welcome her back to The Mick Lally Theatre as our new President.
We were also honoured to have Mayor of Galway City Cllr. Mike Cubbard with us.
Thank you to everyone who gathered at The Mick Lally Theatre to help us celebrate our 50th anniversary and launch Druid Theatre: Fifty Years, the new history of Druid by Professor Patrick Lonergan, published by Lilliput Press.
