Artist Development
Druid has a range of theatre development initiatives including FUEL, New Writing and the Druid Academy.
Druid was founded in Galway in 1975, a time when there were no professional theatre companies outside of Dublin and few resources with which to build one, so we understand the difficulty of starting out and of maintaining a career in theatre.
With this in mind, we have established a range of development initiatives to assist theatre-makers and thereby enriching our artistic programme.
