Over the past three months young people from Galway, Dublin and Belfast have been working closely on a documentary about their shared future. Through a series of exchange trips, visiting each city in turn, the groups have explored themes relevant to their lives, with all of their similarities and differences.
The result of this adventure is a short documentary made by Matt Faris which will be shown as part of Cruinniú na nÓg 2025 in Galway City.
This project was made possible through collaboration with Prime Cut Productions and Black Mountain Action Group in Belfast, Ringsend and Irishtown Community Centre in Dublin and Foróige and Ard Family Resource Centre in Galway. The project is supported by Galway City Council and Dublin City Council and funded by Creative Ireland and the Shared Island Programme. A special thanks to Bobbi-Rai Purdy, Úna Nic Eoin and Nicky Harley for bringing this project to life.
