This play is the life of Brenda Barnes and her story as a young nine-year-old girl right through to her forties. As we accompany her through her life we witness many challenges she faces including having a short- tempered mother and a father who is his worst enemy. This insight to their family life is both absorbing and casual from start to finish.
a wonderfully evocative comedy, presented in that appealingly quirky style of Ms. Aron’s which so captivated audiences in her previous plays
a highly entertaining comedy, well played, staged and directed..it deserves to be a hit
the outstanding quality of the piece is the innocent wit and comic response the author wrings fom the memories of a dutiful daughter
