The Hostage

By Brendan Behan
Directed by Jim Sheridan

Leslie a young British soldier is taken hostage from the border and kept in a brothel that once was a house of an IRA commander. In the house he falls in love with a tenant Teresa. In the background the story of an eighteen-year-old IRA member is to be executed in Belfast for the murder of a policeman. Although we never see this we see the events that led to his planned execution.
