Druid is a writers’ theatre with a long track record for premiering new plays of international stature.

Playwrights can submit their scripts to our annual New Writing script submission window for Druid Debuts, a series of rehearsed readings of new plays from which we develop new work for the stage.

We are currently designing our 2026 Artist Development programmes, to be announced in spring 2026.
