The Lark in the Clear Air Helen Hancock

Soprano Helen Hancock, pianist Annalisa Monticelli and clarinettist Berginald Rash are delighted to present a beautiful programme with Schubert's hugely popular "Shepherd on a Rock" for soprano, clarinet and piano as its centrepiece. The trio will also present Arnolds Cooke's Songs of Innocence. Songs for soprano and piano include Clara Schumann's Opus 13 song cycle and songs by Richard Strauss. Music for clarinet and piano includes Paul Reade's well known and very beautiful Victorian Kitchen Garden Suite. A selection of Irish airs in honour of St. Patrick will round off the evening.
